Nashville, TN Wedding - Clarisa & Jeremy

Clarisa & Jeremy are definitely one of a kind couple. When I first met them to discuss working together, I really hoped that it would work out to follow them on their wedding day....as you will see, they both have a rich history together in the military.  They were married at Church of the Assumption in Germantown and then a gorgeous reception following at Union Station downtown. More photos to come but I wanted to start posting a few for them...

Nashville, TN Wedding - Pete & Jennifer

Jennifer Trafton & Pete Peterson, two amazing authors, whose stories intertwine in a way that is beautiful.  As you will see, their ceremony was so intimate and personal to who they are...most of this blog is of the ceremony which is a rarity.  They requested their vows be spoken in the middle of friends & family, so they walked to the center of the church and everyone surrounded them. It was such a sweet moment.  Their wedding party consisted of children who were dressed the part of characters in their books as well...such an exciting and fun day. Also, check out the lovely flowers on the violin; all the flowers were done by Melissa Braodwell with Vintage Florals.

Both the Traftons & the Petersons are beautiful people inside & out; here is the moment when one of Jennifer's brothers is seeing her before she walked down the isle.  Such love in this family!

Wedding in Nashville, TN - Steps of the Ryman

Wow! what an enormously busy summer it has been! I'm so thankful and grateful to have had the opportunity to work with so many brides & grooms, babies, children & families.  I am just now getting around to posting a wedding ceremony that took place on the steps of the Ryman, downtown Nashville. Sean & Dawn are a beautiful couple with a lot of rich history woven in their story.  It was really special to be there witnessing this union.  Special thanks to, Annie Heyward with A Chic Critique who helped organized the details of this event including using her amazing skills for Dawn's gorgeous makeup. 

After their ceremony, Sean & Dawn rounded the corner and made their appearance at some of Nashville's most famous country music hot spots!  Plenty of "congratulations" were being heard all over the place. : )
