Doug & Cassie were married October 13th, 2012 at Edwin Warner Park, where Doug has worked. It was the most beautiful fall day and the leaves were started to show their color.

"Sisters...Sisters..."
Their vows were wonderful - not a dry eye in the place, including me. Such a precious couple who have known and walked together for several years now - very personalized vows. Their parents also (not shown) shared insights and wisdom for them to take along into their marriage.
Cassie & Doug did a really neat thing during their ceremony - they took soil from each other's birth homes (or something to that effect), combined them and planted put a small tree that will be planted. It was such a great idea.
Loved how the groomsmen picked up instruments as they walked out and played, "When the Saints Go Marching In..."it was perfect.
Reception followed at the Peterson home.
Some of Doug's father's photographs were part of the table settings/place numbers. He's amazing!
How often does the bride & groom get to sing and play together at their reception? This was a special treat and they even received an encore. It was lovely.
One of their friends made the MOST hilarious video of Doug. Everyone was in tears from laughter.
And the night continued with more dancing and more dancing...You guys have been such an amazing couple to know and work with. Thank you for letting me be there to document your day.
